Caleb Opportunity Centers

Building blocks toward self-sufficiency

Caleb's Challenge:
Overcoming the Poverty Cycle

Tina was a "welfare mom" who quit one of her three jobs because if she made "too much money" she would lose her baby's health insurance. In affordable housing she pays 30% of her income for rent: as her income rises, her rent does too. Tina wants to break the cycle of poverty by providing her son with opportunities that she never had, and by building up some savings.  She is thankful to Caleb for their affordable housing community which has provided her with a secure foundation.  But Tina knows to really make these life changes she needs tools and programs aimed at self-sufficiency. Caleb's opportunity centers are the door through which Tina's goals can be realized.

Caleb's Solution:
Caleb Opportunity Centers
